Labeling a quilt
with the artist's name, date, and the name of the quilt, are
an essential part of quilting. All too often, we have
quilts from the 1700 and 1800s whom we have no idea who made
the quilt or where it was made. This is a loss to our
quilting history!
Quilt labels, like the ones I show below are a fun and unique way of adding to the beauty of the quilt. With your input, I can make custom quilt labels for you on your backing (or top if you prefer) with the name of the quilt, the quilter�s name, and the date the quilt was made along with any variety of images you�d like to set it off. The sky�s the limit on this one!
Most labels would cost approximately $15 to $20 per label, depending on the density of design, number of color changes, and lettering.
